God is my superhero, ask your self is he yours??

Superheros is something that everyone grew up with. My favorite ones are Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Indiana Jones (No powers but still saves the world.) The X-Men. There has something that draws us to these amazing fictional characters. And I think I know what that just might be.

Superheros do things that we think that we never can do. They inspire us to be more then who we are. But here is the thing, we are missing something. Something that people over look a lot more nowadays and that is the fact that the missing key to becoming more then what we are is that we need God. This world is getting darker and scarier every moment of every day and the battle against the darkness draws on, endlessly. But we have the ending of how everything is going to go down. We know what is going to happen in the end because God gives it to us, in the book of Revelations. He tells us that Satan and all his followers will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and that We will spend enterinty with Him. I am currently making my way through the Smallville TV series, the complete series, and I was thinking back on the theme song and what took place over the summer.

Here is the story. I was about to default on my private student loan and everything else was in the same boat. I was at my breaking point and I wanted to give up, but here is the interesting part. After my first interview with Walmart I was hanging out with a friend and I was decracted. I wasn't thinking about the ifs about ever detail about it. And then the call came. The call I was so desparately waiting to hear all the years since I graduated from high school, I had a job offer. So after the holiday weekend and after I filled out the paperwork, I got drug tested and I past, no surprise there. And I waited a little bit.
Finally I called the Walmart up and check on my background check and drug test and that is when I had gotten the job. And here is something that is even better. My friend and my father figure, Steven Fazakerley was doing a music video for his song "My God is For Me." you can search it on youtube if you want, and I will post a link to it. and another thing that I kept telling people was how fast it had happened. I kept my student loan from Sallie Mae from defaulting, however my credit card debt wasn't so lucky. (I'm paying back my two smallest debt first and working my way up to the bigger one.) Anyway looking back at all that I went through and my home life and how  afraid I am to even sleep in that house, still am; but watching Smallville and listening to the theme song of the TV show got me to thinking even deeper about how God is my Superhero and he doesn't need to be an alien, or have some gentic mutation, or whatever the case may be, my Superhero can do all of it on his own. Listen to the theme song of Smallville.
