Through trail, struggle and pain God is Faithful. It is us who allows the darkness to blind us to God's Glory. When I first entered college I was so broken, so lost and confused. I had no Hope, but the Lord interven and brought amazing people into my life. Two of them are my best friends but over the years they have become family. And in a world that is filled with abuse, hatred, lies, and so much more I am so glad that I have been blessed by everyone that I have encouter over the years.
They give me something to look up to, something to taste if you will of who God has created me to be. I will be 23 years old this upcoming saturday and even though my family doesn't see it I have changed for the better. This journey that I am on with my church family and my friends has been a crazy one. I lost my cat and then my dog that was a mother to me only to realize that I had a mother, we don't always agree but deep down I know that she loves me and even though we throw words around and do things to hurt each other I am taking a stand and I am changing. It doesn't happen over night, but there is hope. I am trying even harder to change. Now you may not believe that people can change and your right. People can't change themselves, God has to work on them and their heart. One of the reasons why I am doing Faith is so many people give up and the world just stands there and watches.
In the darkness there comes a light. A light that brings Peace and Hope, not only that but that same light brings a Joy that is indecriable. I want people when they watch Faith on Facebook or youtube to see God, and to Hear God's voice and promises. Because unlike us, God keeps His promises. I want people to wake up to the reality that is out there. There is a song called Be Somebody by the band Thousand Foot Kruches and its a song that everyone can relate to. But to go even deeper into the heart of Faith, I want to show people that NO MATTER what situation you are in there is a Hope. And some how, some way God takes that and uses it for His Glory. I also want to show that God does keep His promises because He does.
There are a couple of passesages from the Bible that I want to share with you. The first one is in Revelations 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. (KJV) The other one is Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (KJV)
